The paternal Fordham  family originated in Pennsylvania.  The Canadian branch of the Fordham clan, settled  in Pointe St. Charles, a suburb of Montreal.  Albert Wesley Fordham married Kathleen Patricia Cunningham, from Parish of St. Anne's, Point St. Charles, , and relocated to the east end of Montreal, in a district called Tetreaultville.  Albert's occupation was that of a glass-blower at the Dominion Glass and Foundry in Montreal and then worked until  his retirement  age at The Montreal Locomotive Works Limited.  He retired at the age  of 71.

Albert Wesley. had the distinction of having met Buffalo Bill Cody and Chief Sitting Bull when Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show came to Montreal. 

Albert Wesley Fordham. and Kathleen P. Cunningham raised four sons through the Great Depression(having lost one son William in 1918 to the Spanish Influenza.

George Patrick Fordham and John Joseph Aldrich Fordham both served in the Canadian Forces  during World War Two in the European Theatre from 1941 thru 1945.They both returned from after the armistice and worked at Montreal Locomotive Works while raising families.

Albert Edward . married Letty Gill but never had any children.

Charles Gerald Fordham never married and remained a confirmed bachelor all his life.

George Patrick Fordham  married Noreen Kathleen Patricia Hertle May 11, 1941  and died of complications of Emphysemia in 1973, and was survived by his wife and one son, Wayne Michael P. Fordham; 

 John Joseph Fordham succumbed to Emphysema shortly thereafter.   He was survived by his wife  Agnes McAleese.

                                                                                                              
 John Joseph Fordham had three daughters and one son, the son Johnny Jr., himself passing away at the age of 29 due to unknown causes.
 
Wayne Michael Fordham, married Diane Mavia Lawrence in civil court in 1976, and  divorced in 1986.  Wayne M. Fordham married Joan G.T.Splicer in 1986 at St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Tetreaultville,Montreal, Quebec., Reverend Thomas Ramsey presiding.

Joan  G. Splicer expired of Congestive Heart Failure  June 24th 2006.  She was survived by five daughters, Colleen, Melanie, Denise, Trudy, April, and one  son, Tonda, and her husband of 19 3/4 years, Wayne Michael-Patrick Fordham.

Out of the union of Joan G. Splicer and Wayne Michael-Patrick Fordham there were no male heirs to the Fordham clan; only one daughter, Miss Trudy Kiepprien
